1ST BAPTISM!!

heres some good news...................BAPTISM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woop woop we just baptised a young lady who is chosen she is so sweet she is 15 the first time we were with her and talk about baptism she told us that she cant change religions because she always grew up knowing that if she did something bad would happen and keep happening but we talked about prayer and what god would want. we told her to pray and listen for her answer and left it at that. the next day we asked her if she had prayed and she said yes and then we asked her if she had recieved an answer and she said yes she needs to be baptised that she knows that the church is true it was really sweet so we visited her every day for a week and a half and she was baptised saturday he name is justine alejandra guevara orellana she is reallly nice elder reyes baptised her and i confirmed her as a member and all that it was something really special haha i will send a picture and were going to have another baptism the 29th with a lady hahaha she is really awesome just really depressed but she wants to change her life.


its a really humbling thing knowing what i am doing out her in mexico we study the scriptures every morning and when the lord wants to tell us something he makes it very very clear hahaha i was reading in the book of mormon the day of her baptism in in mormon 6:17 it says that jesus has is arms open to us always kinda and then in 7:8 it says that we need to be baptised and repent of our sins and then we can recieve the holy ghost to guide us when we need help and of course i was thinking of justine and she has had a hard life the family in the picture are not her family only friends she left her home be cause her father in law is crazy and her mom doesnt want anything to do with her so she left to her friends house and they called us haha and she was baptised she now has the gift of the holy ghost to guide her and be with her always to give her confort and love when she needs it to give her guidance and to help her with her problems. we all have this gift from our father in heaven we all have that love in our life and it doesnt matter when our problem is the lord will help us in everything we come across and will help guide our lives so that we can return to our father in heaven with opur families council the youth in always following the love of the lord and follow the merits of christ always every day be working on attributes of jesus christ which are found in preach my gospel ask dad every week choose a different attribute to work on study the scriptures and look for ways to better your life.. to recieve guidance and revelation and to build your testimony there are thing thrings you have to do 1 pray.... pray to your father in heaven for help talk with him everyday all day 2 read the book of mormon.... read this book itr has been declared by joseph smith that it is the most correct book in the world and those who follow the teaching will better there life. it will also give you answers in ways you cant even understand 3 go to church... in the church we reniew our covenants and we have the opertunity to talk with our father in heaven more closely in his own house and the talks are given though the people dont really know that they are inspired there is always someone who benefits from the words they say and how they say it

i am not saying you guys are not doing that i am only saying that it is what helps me here in the mission and its what we teach to our investigators and members to always be keeping the commandments of the lord and all 3 things are commandments of the lord and we have the commandments to be happy not to be played with they are all for a reason i love you all haha

other things hahaha i have been sick for 5 days with diarea i know its not what you want to here hahaha but it really does suck i am scared to eat because i know what is going to pass... also i bought a hammock it is really sweet and i have slept in it for 4 nights now woop woop hahahah be good and follow the lord.

ps i love you mom i love you a lot and i really miss my family and i miss your food but i also know why i am here and to be honest this month has gone by so slow hahaha i think its because i have been having a difficult time but i love you all hahaha be good

elder houston..... ps if you could send me a wet stone that would be really nice ahhaha no one has one here and my knife is dull haha
